BRAZILIAN JU-JITSU
History- The art of Brazilian jujitsu can root back to the era of feudalist Japan, the legendary warriors "Samurai" used such martial art in combat when in the situation of being unarmed or in close areas where their deadly "katana" won't be suitable.
With the collapse of Feudalist Japan in 1871, a wave of Westernisation came over pushing the arts of the Samurai and also Martial Arts out of the mainstream culture of Japan, therefore forcing dojos to close and shut down.
The year is 1882, and an old practitioner of old-school Jujitsu didn't want such art and fighting style to be wiped from the culture of Japan. Jigoro Kano founded his martial Art school called Kodak-an has developed a different branch of ju-jitsu called Judo, this martial art was created of techniques Kano decided were efficient in actual combat Jujitsu. This movement upkeep not only the reputation of jujitsu but also created a different branch called Judo.
In 1914, one of Kano's students, Mitsuo Maeda, traveled to Brazil on a business trip, Mitsuo was more of a ground fighter, therefore sticking more to the Ju-jitsu style of fighting than the new judo. He met a business partner "Gustavo Gracie" he had a son who was a bullied teenager and who was also weak, his name is "Carlos Gracie".
Carlos Gracie is now the father of Brazilian Ju-jitsu, practicing "newaza", which is the ground style of Judo, with Mitsuo. Carlson and his family have started to study Newaza and Judo, therefore, creating and establishing Brazilian Ju-jitsu.
As a family sport, BJJ was quite remote from the outside world except in Brazil, however, once with the immigration of Rorian Gracie to the USA, Rorian had a chance to show off his family sport, which is the art of Brazilian Ju-jitsu, at the upcoming televised event UFC 1. Rorian, therefore, has shown his talent and brutal executions against many common styles of fighting such as boxing, kickboxing, and Taekwondo. Rorian Gracie dominates in the octagon which makes him the first-ever champion of UFC. Such big events caused BJJ to be injected into the mainstream media causing people all around the world to study and practice it.
Synopsis- The making of ju-jitsu was invented by early Japanese Samurais to combat armored enemies while being unarmed, with the blunt force of a kick and punch, Ju-jitsu uses the physics forces such as leverage, momentum, grip pressure, and the mass of another opponent in order to through him or put the opponent into a submissive position allowing you to execute via choke or broken limb.
Fighter- Charles deBrox Olivera is a Brazilian MMA fighter who puts the MMA fighters to the test by using his high-level BJJ field, therefore, representing the martial art of BJJ. Charles Olivera's character is the full face of this national gentle martial art, his energetic and charismatic behavior and character embody the culture of Brazil, and his flexibility and amazing technique show the face of pure Ju-Jitsu.
WRESTLING/FREESTYLING MODERN
History- the original Greco-Roman wrestling fights can be traced back to 3000 BC into the peninsulas of Greece. Greco-Roman Wrestling is one the oldest sport and the biggest combat names in the Olympics origin, such martial art was part of the Olympics since 308 BC however with the shutting down there comes the dark age of wrestling, however, the sport gets back to life by being restored and re-programmed in 1896 by the French. Once with the reinvention and the hosting of the first modern Olympics with Carl Schuhmann as the first wrestling championship, by 1908 GR Wrestling\Freestyle was a regular sport at the Summer Games.
The origins of the modern version of such a beautiful sport of both technique\strength date to 1848 by a French soldier, Jean Exbrayat. Jean was showcasing his "flat hand wrestling" style at events and exhibitions.
With this type of sport style getting awareness in Europe, the French Sports Administration named it French Wrestling, however later on a modern Italian Wrestler, Basilio Bartoleti. has used the term Greco-Roman to describe the roots and nature of modern Wrestling, however, the practice of old wrestling was way much weirder and brutal than how we practice it now.
Synopsis- The art of worldwide wrestling from any time is to take down the opponent by using 50/50 between your critical thinking and brute power.
For Wrestling the rules are that you're meant to throw or immobilize your opponent without using your legs as trips or grapple of the opponent's leg, therefore causing most of your upper body to do the heavy work. Such strict rules on the below-the-waist game make the sport tilting to a more physical and brute force as you need your lift power and muscle explosively to down the person while their base (legs) are still connected to the ground.
Freestyling is a sport where restricted practices are more eased allowing you to create techniques that take more problem-solving and the laws of force in order to smartly wipe the enemy's heavy base (legs), such allowance of these techniques makes the sport much more of a half problem solving and brute force.
Fighter - the supernatural fighter Yoel Romeo which also known to the world as the "solider of God" due to his spread of god's word, Yoel Romeo is one the most dangerous wrestlers in the UFC due to his incredible body conditioning and strength however his professional wrestling background backs him up by a lot due to increasing his battle IQ which is the most essential weapon in the world of martial arts.
MUAY THAI
History- The art of the 8 limbs so-called Muay Thai has been created and practiced since the 13th century by the Thai army for the defense of the Sukohaithai dynasty and the Thai Kingdom, the purpose of such martial art was to teach the troops unarmed combat and blows that purpose was to break and kill the enemy, also it is believed that Muay Thai had a brother, a martial art which was the armed combat version called Krabi Krabong. Before the term Muay Thai, the sport of 8 limbs was called Muay Boran, before the institutionalization in the 1930s by the sports committee. Muay Boran was a more brutal version of Muay Thai consisting of some illegal moves and rules by today's modern Muay Thai.
The word Muay Boran in the 17th century was started by a gladiatorial-like game by the Burmese emperor for a Buddhist celebration, the participants of such a deadly tournament were prisoners that were enslaved from their homes once with the conquering of their land. Among many diverse fighters, there was a Siam slave who has about to make a name not only for himself but also for his martial art, Nai Khanom Tom was a slave from the captured ex-capital of Thailand, Ayutthaya. Nai Khamon was dominating against foreign slaves and Burmese fighters by using his foreign concepts of the use of elbows and knees showing what Muay Thai was about.
The modernization of the Muay Boron in Muay Thai comes from the 1700s with the exploration of two French brothers who were going around the world asking for fights to participate when coming against a famous Thai fighter with incredible strength (Muen Phlaan) spreading awareness not continentally but worldwide.
Also, it comes to hand that once participated in global events in Thailand, King Rama VII created the 1900s, western style boxing rings for Muay Thai and boxing competitions, therefore, starting the wave of foreign and modernization of Muay Thai.
Synopsis- Muay Thai is the art of using all "8" limbs against your opponents, techniques such as elbow strikes, which force is a combination between blunt and cutting force, and knee blows to the ribs cage with a force of a sledgehammer, all of these body parts mentioned in the hits are what they see as the 4 extra limbs which are put in combination with clinching and grappling.
Fighter - Baukaw Banchmek, is a literal God in the world of Muay Thai with kicks that demolish palm trees and techniques accurate as a bullet, Baukaw was dominating in the modern world of Muay Thai nationally and internationally however all of this is paid to the touch and traditional Thai fight gym which was Buakaw life since he was 7, Baukaw intensive and hard work was unusual toward most of the fighters but this uniqueness made him the God of Muay Thai.
BOXING
History- Boxing is a sport that needs no introduction or description of it due to its modern mainstream sports culture however neither passive nor active audience don't know where this beautiful but deadly sport came from, well in today's text we are gonna go down to its early existence in ancient Greece
Boxing is such a natural sport to human nature that it is impossible to say that someone created it or established it at "a specific time", making it a little bit untraceable however its first evidence of covered fist fighting competitions could be seen in a Minoan Crete vases which shows men fighting with armored helmets and solid metal objects coving their fists or, in other vases, fists covered with ropes. The thought of fighting with solid and tough equipment in boxing or any other combat sport is long erased from our modern minds however this style of equipment was no trouble in 1500 BCE, however, the formal version of boxing is first seen in the 23rd Ancient Olympian event in 688 BCE where there were no rounds in the ancient times and the only ways a match would finish was until till the opponent accepts defeat or unable to fight no more, although its brutality rules such as no clinching, which technique is practiced now, its is straight up forbidden for the ancient time's
rules. The Greek population has denounced such sports as the most injurious among Greek sports leading boxing to get the summary "a boxer's victory is gained by blood" in a piece of 1st-century scripture.
Now a jump to modern boxing started in 1681 with the London Theater as they set pugilists to come and fight bare-knuckle till the opponent accepts defeat, such sport was supported and maintained in the entertainment department by the commissions of betting which pushed many fighters to come and demonstrate their talents due to earning a piece of bread, therefore starting the bare-knuckle era. Boxing matches at that time were illegal to be held however with its society's acceptance of such entertainment, boxing was leading more to be seen as not only entertaining but also a sport once with the first champion James Figg who's one of the pupils Jack Broughton earned an athletic endeavor title and also taking the first steps to establish boxing as a sport in 1743 with a set of rules which were modified in 1838 dramatically due to death accidents, these set of rules where the first formal regulations which were called the London prizefighter ring rules which didn't allow grappling or hitting below the waist.
Once the increased in popularity, set the final touches to set boxing as a full legitimate sport was the upbringing of the Queensbury rules in 1867 by the Amateur Athletic Union, making boxing the beauty which we have today, once which such set of rules boxing got spread all over the world leading competitions and big money is involved in this scene. Once all the governmental problems went away boxing has been spread around the world, which inspired people to study it and practice it in order to have their shot at worldwide championships.
Synopsis- Boxing is a martial art where fists are the only weapons. Jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts are the bullets for your arms, although kicking is not allowed the legs are the number 1 essential of boxing due to not only helping your move around but also creating a kinetic chain in your body which is released when punching creating a knockout punch.
fighters - The most feared figure in the boxing world is no one other than "Iron" Mike Tyson, a fighter who brought so much attention due to the off-world character that seems like it was furnished by demons. Their poor childhood and tough environment in Brooklyn made him one of the most impressive fighters with amazing technicality and aggressiveness which scared grown men away from his way. Mike's punching power was so strong, he could put a bull to sleep with a haymaker, with features like this he had dominated the hell of heavyweight boxing.
